[Would it bother you more to lose the gold at nationals to Evan, or be beaten by someone else?...[I]f it's Evan for gold, and Johnny second--would you then rather it be him in the top spot or prefer it to be anyone but him?]
If I'm second, and someone else is first, I would expect that someone to be Evan. It doesn't make it more lovely that it would be him, but I consider Evan the other top guy. To me, it's like the Plushenko-Yagudin rivalry. If one didn't win, the other probably should have. Evan and I have to defend the top two territories--like a sick little army.

Johnny Weir
Whether witty or wise, controversial or charming, shocking or silly, sweet or sassy, provocative or profound, inspiring or infuriating--or any combination of those--Johnny Weir, the three-time U.S. Champion, two-time Olympian, and World medalist figure skater, almost always says something worth quoting whenever he commentates a skating competition, makes a TV appearance, gives an interview, holds a press conference, writes, tweets, or is caught on video. His quotes needed to be collected and shared; hence this blog.
