[Q. Have you ever been tempted, when some random person calls you “ma’am,” to just run with it?]

I always run with it. Why would I fight them on their thought? In general I won’t get to know someone who doesn’t know me well enough to call me “sir,” so I hike my bag up a little higher on my shoulder and prance away.
