Johnny Weir

The funniest thing about winning the Visibility Award for the HRC was that I don't consider myself in any way a role model or an activist for any community. I'm an activist for myself. I'm a role model for myself.

In speaking out against people that wanted to pick every little piece of my life apart, I found that indeed I was an activist for being unique and for being yourself.
