I want people to remember me as someone that pushed the envelope, pushed the boundaries of the United States figure skating establishment. Not necessarily went with the grain, but just sort of formed my own route, and that I showed that you can have a different sense of style, or different sense of life than other people you're up against and still prevail; you can still be strong and be confident in what you've got to offer. And at the end of it, I want people to just remember me as a great sportsman, not as this crazy flamboyant kid that just talks all this nonsense all the time. Just that I was good at what I did.

Johnny Weir
Whether witty or wise, controversial or charming, shocking or silly, sweet or sassy, provocative or profound, inspiring or infuriating--or any combination of those--Johnny Weir, the three-time U.S. Champion, two-time Olympian, and World medalist figure skater, almost always says something worth quoting whenever he commentates a skating competition, makes a TV appearance, gives an interview, holds a press conference, writes, tweets, or is caught on video. His quotes needed to be collected and shared; hence this blog.
