My whole life I just wanted to live. I wanted to be me. I didn’t want to push an agenda, and I didn’t want to make more people like me. I didn’t want to make anyone believe in my life. All I wanted to do was to live, and if me being married to a man is interesting to people, I’m proud of it.

Blogger's note: In the published article, the end of the third sentence read: "I didn’t want to make more people to like me." I'm not sure if this was a grammatical mistake by Johnny, a typo, or perhaps a translation issue by a non-native English speaking writer.
